Electronic invoicing in France: E-Invoicing and E-Reporting explained simply

B2B e-invoicing in France is now a reality. The new regulatory framework is not limited to sending an XML file, but introduces an architecture based on the 5-corner model, the mandatory tracking of payment statuses, and 45 specific use cases for different industrial sectors ("Extended" scenarios).
For software houses, management software, and ERP platforms, adaptation requires a clear strategy and adequate technical tools: tax compliance is no longer a local issue, but the testing ground to prepare for future European ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) directives.
