A-Cube launches Smart Electronic Receipt: automatic, secure and compliant transmission is now a reality
The innovation that A-Cube is bringing to the fintech sector continues unabated. To the existing APIs — capable of handling the sending of electronic invoices, documents on the Peppol network, and read and write operations on current accounts with Open Banking — another important service is now being added. With Scontrino Elettronico Smart from today digital platforms will be able to automate the sending of receipts to the Revenue Agency in an immediate, secure and compliant way! A valuable support for the e-commerce sector, which has grown steadily in recent years and in Italy exceeded 45 billion euro in 2022, with growth of 14% compared with the previous year.
From the receipt to the electronic document
Since 2019 the gradual replacement of receipts and fiscal receipts with electronic sales records has begun. From 1 January 2021 in particular, receipts and invoices were definitively replaced by a commercial document, which can be issued exclusively using a telematic cash register or a web procedure made available free of charge by the Revenue Agency. Those who carry out operations of “retail trade and similar activities”, for which issuing an invoice is not mandatory (unless requested by the customer), must certify the takings through storage and electronic transmission of the same to the Revenue Agency.
An operation that you can automate thanks to our APIs, by appointing A-Cube to send commercial documents to the Revenue Agency. An innovative and secure procedure that guarantees full legal compliance and requires only a one-off login via SPID by the customer, without sharing credentials and passwords that need periodic renewal. This will enable the automatic and secure sending to the portal Invoices and Receipts portal of the Revenue Agency.
How does sending work?
The sending of the commercial document takes place via REST API, specifying the necessary data in a JSON file. The A-Cube platform manages the entire process, ensuring delivery only if the data are correct. The customer immediately receives a unique identifier for the document and at the same time a process communicates with the Revenue Agency for the sending of the electronic receipt.
Thanks to the OpenAPI 3.0 specifications and the use of webhooks, integration with A-Cube API is remarkably simple. For any problem, our technical support is always available 365 days a year.
It is possible to send three types of documents: the normal receipt, i.e. the “online commercial document”, a document of cancellation and one of return. For each of them it is possible at any time to receive information on the date of acquisition and the status of the sending, as well as a copy of the document in PDF format or JSON. Through the A-Cube dashboard it is possible to consult the list of receipts, filtering it by acquisition date, sending date, status and document number.
To meet your company's branding needs, you can customise the commercial documents to download in PDF format with logo and company colours, and also decide to send these documents automatically by email with a preconfigured template.
Security is guaranteed: the customer's credentials are neither shared nor require periodic changes. Once A-Cube has been appointed, the documents, the requests sent to the Revenue Agency and the related responses are stored in certified ISO 27001 storage, located in an EU data centre. All files and data handled remain in A-Cube's storage for a period of 6 months.
